• Can anyone join the buffs?

You have to be a male, over 18 & need to be proposed by a member who has known you for at least 6 months.

• What do the Buffs do?

We provide assistance to member's spouses and family if the member passes away and give assistance to members in need. We also raise funds for local charities.

• Is it a local organisation?

It is an international organisation with many weekly meeting places worldwide.

• What local charities have the Elgin branch helped?

Local hospitals. Local Handicapped children. Riding for the disabled & disadvantaged children. The 2007 main appeal raised £2500 for The Harlequin Project in Lossiemouth.

• How do the Elgin Buffs raise money?

A small weekly raffle among members and various social events. We also organise a large raffle which is opened to the rest of Moray.
